# Update The Theme

<mark style="color:red;">NOTICE: YOU MUST BE BACKUP YOUR DATA BEFORE UPDATING THE THEME.</mark>

**You can update our theme using some ways below:**

**I. Update online via our Server.**

**PLEASE VIEW A TUTORIAL VIDEO FOR THE KINDORI THEME BELOW FOR MORE DETAIL:**

1. Go to **Consultivo -> Dashboard**

2\. Click the **Update** button to update the theme to the highest version.

3\. When you see the green Successful alert on the right bottom of the screen, it means you are done.

**III. You can update the theme manually via FTP or Cpanel.**

1. Log into your **ThemeForest** account and get the last version of the theme as described above.
2. Connect to your server using desktop client software (we recommend Filezilla and CyberDuck).
3. Change directory to `/wp-content/themes`.
4. Remove/rename the existing folder with old theme files.
5. Unpack theme installable files downloaded from ThemeForest and upload them to the `themes` folder.
6. Update (if necessary!) the included plug-ins in the way described above, if you see a notification message prompting about a newer version.
